Oak processionary moth is an insect known from the caterpillar’s stadium which has irritating hairs which affect human skin and eyes. The caterpillars live in oak trees during the spring and summer seasons in characteristic fluffy nests. I made an animation and posters, which shows the research project of a new natural method to reduce the number of oak processionary caterpillars on trees. The research project is now starting in the Netherlands and the idea was to promote and explains to people what’s going on!
